Wasn't there a DS9 episode where the main characters went back to the TOS time line and ended up dressing the part? Isn't that the one where Worf is asked about the Klingons without forehead ridges and he brushes off the question with something like 'We don't talk about that!"?

That's the one. I thought at first someone had simply borrowed a screengrab from a scene there for Worf, but then I realized with the face-ridge thing he probably didn't go around in period gear. (I've seen the ep long ago while plowing through the series, but I've forgotten what he was doing while everyone else was plotting around.)

I just re-watched it last night, after Wing mentioned it. Worf wears trader garb that includes a hat covering most of his head ridges. He and Odo spend most of their time in the bar/lounge on K-7. Odo adopts a Tribble to Worf's displeasure.

Dax looked good in a mini-skirt.
