Even though I am not expecting anything realistic and historic from an AAA game but just pure fun arcade action, the gameplay video made me yawn many times, just like watching one of Micheal Bay's movie on the plane to try to get some sleep.

I haven't been expecting realistic shooter but the gameplay doesn't resemble WW1 at all. They just put WW1 skins and made few tweaks. They didn't put much effort into it. I'm not surprised though.

Yup.  Nothing says, "the Somme," or "Ypres," like characters scurrying around like manic ants with planes overhead, and everyone with semi autos, scoped rifles, and so on.

Comes out this week....originally wasn't interested even during beta, but has been getting a lot of positive media, including the single player mode.

They have done better than that by having open beta and released for early access which allows people to play up until 10 hrs if you belong to ea's littke club :)

Not sure if any full reviews done yet, just seems like a number of positive vibes.  Likely not a day one purchase for me unless I find really cheap which isn't likely anytime soon.

Plus still playing mafia 3 which I am enjoying the heck out of regardless of reviews and such.

Skipping this BF...if I want to play real WW1, I play Verdun...if I want to play BF I play BF4...and I am ready for Titanfall 2 (surely the better shooter in the BF/CoD pool this year).

I haven't seen anywhere that has for that price yet, especially for US copy...but will keep my eye out.  Likely a game I will pick up, but for me does not have to be day one.
