fortunately the southern end is still on Swiss territory and not in Italy ! 

but nevertheless i bet so called "activists" from left-green branch soon will find some stranglers inside the Swiss and talk them to march into the pipe to force a safety traffic interdiction with a world wide leftleaning media coverage... probably as a beacon / outcry for the 'desperate' 'hopless' 'human catastrophe', 'you name it' (buzzword bingo) 'situation' at the Eurotunnel at Calais...

or for the regathering wild campers at Idomeni/Greek, who also liked to use a rail road track and wagon 'battering rams' to force their way north through the border  ....fortunately those Saracen don't know how to operate a battering ram properly anymore ^-^
