Drool! Look at the size of those maps! I'm going to have to adjust the shelf size on my book case to hold that....

Picked up my copy here at Origins right from Mark. Wow! 13 lbs of gaming goodness!

Stalingrad map is a work of art. Other 2 maps as well. Counters look great.

So much stuff with the KS loot that it all won't fit in the box! :o :(

My copy hasn't arrived yet, alas. Starting to get a bit antsy.

Is that my copy there? Don't let it fall off the pallet- I don't want any scuffs!

I got my copy today. It's a bit overwhelming (because it's gigantic and there's a ton of stuff in it!), but I can't wait to play it. Also looking forward to the VASSAL module, since one downside of the huge maps is that it's going to be a little tough to find a place to set it up.

But seriously, this game is well worth the wait.

GJK · June 23, 2016, 06:24:33 AM

I'm curious what the map scale is and what the time per turn is. Shayne?

Barthheart · June 23, 2016, 07:13:28 AM

Hexes are about 50m across and turn time represents about 4-5 minutes.

Staggerwing · June 23, 2016, 06:50:18 PM

WOOHOO!

(bottle of ale not included, added only for scale)

panzerde · June 23, 2016, 07:35:41 PM

Maybe not included, but necessary.

I did OST and because you said that Band of Brothers is a GREAT series, I bought into that KS deal too. :D

Plus side is because both took so long, the wife didn't catch me!

bob48 · June 24, 2016, 03:25:57 PM

Oh BoB is great, and I'm sure I'll be very pleased with it when it eventually arrives - looks like August at the moment. Unfortunately, I couldn't afford both and OST lost...but it does look pretty damn good.

..just goes to show..NEVER listen to bawb.
