That could end up in the cart too.

Picked up Pike and Shot Campaigns, Banished and Outlast so far.

Banished is a great game...just a little light on content.

I couldn't pass it up at the price.  At $6.79 I don't need much content, ha!

Yeah...I still play it occasionally. really it's the first about 5 hours of a new session that are really gripping...and with a random map generator (I believe) it makes a new start up possibly challenging. Only issue is once you hit that equilibrium point it's easy and boring IMHO. Fun game though until you hit that point and there are always disasters.

I am also picking up White March I & II, and Wasteland Director's Cut. Looking at Deserts of Kharak and Flying Tigers: Shadows Over China too.

What's the deal on Deserts of Kharak? Didn't see that yet.

I loved the single player campaign. I bought the DLC packs with the sale. Both 50% off.

I remember you saying a lot of good things about it.

I don't buy all the wargames I want, I just buy more than I need.

They're all good choices.

Mordheim.  Lots of fun.  Tactical battles are always a tense affair.  Quite a bit of depth to it.  Balancing your budgetary needs versus the health of your warband always feels like you're dancing on a knife edge, but in a good way.   I'm not sure, but it feels like they improved the AI in the latest update (I could just be playing like crap though).  The enemy bands seem to be fighting a smarter battle than previously.  It's got a couple of downsides.  First, the tutorials don't really explain many concepts well enough and I had to figure out a lot of stuff via trial and error.  Second, it's perma-death so if the idea of getting several days worth of play into a campaign only to lose your band doesn't sit well, you might want to avoid this one.  Third, there are certain story-missions that you'll have to complete in order to progress.  They can be very tough as the enemies re-spawn and if you don't know what you're doing the first time through, you'll suffer for it.

Pillars of Eternity.  If you liked Baldur's Gate, Temple of Elemental Evil, Icewind Dale, Neverwinter Nights, etc, then you should like this one.  Tonnes of content and some interesting characters.  It can be a bit frustrating in the beginning if you make a certain class of character only to discover that the first NPC party members you meet are the same class as you.  XP can be a bit weird as well.  Rather than being able to grind by killing, you gain XP from discovering traits about each monster type you fight and jotting it down in your notes.  Once you've filled in all the data on a monster, you won't gain any more xp from combat with them.  I ran into a few choke points in the game where my party wasn't strong enough to continue the storyline but I didn't have any way to go back and gain more xp from previous sections.  (lots of save/reload spamming to force my way through an encounter).

Divinity: Original Sin
.  Some really cool, very in-depth quests (the murder mystery in the first city really stands out) and some cool combat mechanics.  Drawbacks for me were as follows.  First, because it's an unfamiliar system, it's possible that you'll end up dumping your skill points into unprofitable skills and you might find yourself bogged down 10-15 hours in and have to restart.  Second, the game's sense of humour.  This is subjective of course but I found most of the jokes more irritating than funny.  Third, remapping keys to the numberpad is still bugged and they still refuse to fix it.

Thank you sir for the rundown, giving me a bit to think about, also considering Grim Dawn buts it only 25% off. I really liked dragon age origins which would you say is like that.

Mordheim's more of a turn-based tactical combat game than an RPG.  As for Divinity or PoE, I don't know that I'd rank one over the other when it comes to being similar to Dragon Age.  They've both got pausable real-time combat, party management, deep storylines, and lots of character customization.

FYI divinity is TB not pausible RT. It is RT outside of combat

Civil War 2
Revolution Under Siege
Pride of Nations
Alea Jacta Est

I'm pretty sure you can (still) eliminate PRON if performance is an issue.  :P ::) It's by far the most ambitious game on the list.
