NEED TO KNOW:  Squad - yes or no?

If you fancy not seeing the enemy and getting shot at from no where = yes.

Arctic Blast

Bit the bullet and picked up Doom. So far, very happy with the purchase. I like that exploring and finding secrets, as well as pulling off the zany objectives (kill 2 with one shotgun blast, use 5 different finishing animations, etc.) earn you weapon upgrade points. Just cranks up the mayhem, and Doom is all about mayhem.

Reminds me of the system used in Bulletstorm. Which in my honest opinion is a vastly underrated shooter that got panned mostly for the plot and script. The shooter mechanics were fun though.

I picked it up only because it's from the same guys who made project reality and it's rarely going to be on sale. If they work on squad for a fraction of the length of time they worked on PR, it will eventually be a very deep game with tons of maps, units, vehicles, etc.

I got it during the sale, played it for an hour, everything seems to working fine for me from a technical point of view, but the most important thing that I like was the community, everyone is polite and they instruct you clearly, no shouting or insulting like other multiplayer games (well so far).

sandman2575

Still haven't bought anything. Will probably pick up Pike & Shot before it's over, but other than that...?

HoI IV (OK, not on sale, but, still.)

Scourge of War: Quatre Bras (ibid)

Marvel Civil War Hero Pack

I would say yes.  As jomni pointed out it isn't easy, but it is very atmospheric.  I would also reiterate would Raied says: I've experienced calm cooperation so far on comms.

On topic - so far only Door Kickers for a whopping £2.24.

Dammit Carl!

Agreed. Bulletstorm was a lot of fun.

Add Crimsonland and one Endless Legend DLC that I was missing to my still reasonable tally.

WallysWorld

Decided to keep Attila and just bought all of its DLC too. It's a good game.

Wanted to like Rome 2, but the terrible anti-aliasing was a big turnoff. If they ever added anti-aliasing like the other Total War games have, I'd definitely reconsider it.

Cyrano

Add:

Assassin's Creed "Black Flag" -- Pirates

Homeworld:  Deserts of Kharak

Naruto 4 (boy remains obsessed)

Project Cars, the "one with everything pack" (could in no way so no to having another digital version of Clark's Lotus)

Regency Solitaire (a real joy and a time sink this one...I have repeatedly sworn by my delicate lace fan to END Mr. Bleakly.)

Sergeant at Arms of La Fraternite des Boutons Carres

AssCreed Black Flag is one of the best games I have ever played!
