Not a whole load of gaming because...drum roll....I go on holiday tomorrow to the Lake District and then onto Scotland!! 

I've been in a F1 groove the last week - likely due to the new F1 game coming out (this always happens). I'm on stage 4 (Catalunya Spain) having got decent results in the McLaren at Melbourne (Aus), Sepang (Mal) and last night coming 6th at Sakhir(Bahrain).

The new F1 game is introducing a 10 season career mode with lots of things to take that through it's route - getting sacked apparently or having teams apply for your services, having lots of things tie into development of the car along with career rivals, starting with your F1 partner. So it's looking good. If the driving experience is kept the same as 2015, I'll be a happy boy.

Nothing else really. I'm taking Combat Commander:Europe on holiday with me, much to the Frustration of my wife.

Well, No Man's Sky is a safe bet to take up most of my limited game time, but I'll probably play some Stellaris too. I have a pretty engrossing game going with a very strong empire.

If I get the urge for something more on the sim side, maybe I'll tinker with Steel Beasts Pro v4.0, too.

I'm in a bit of a gaming funk at the moment, with nothing really holding my interest.  I started a game of Cults & Daggers, so I suppose I'll put some time into that.  I'm waiting to hear that there's more to do in No Man's Sky besides fly around and admire the scenery, but even at that I wouldn't get it at the current price.

I may just cave and pick up Sengoku Jidai later today.

Nice song selection JD....a walk down memory lane. I'm old enough to remember 1964....I was 13.  Gaming this weekend....got back into my WitP:AE USA campaign, that and some more HoI4.

The Gaming Funk continues..

Probably just assembling and/or painting various minis.  Currently gluing F-4s, Mig-21s, and MiG-19s onto magnets & flight stands in prep for painting.

Also been eyeballing my Descent 2nd Ed boxes, to finish painting more heroes.   They have more little details, so painting those minis is more enjoyable.  Despite being a bit stoked about doing some camo patterns on the aircraft by hand (been a very long time).
