I liked Thor: the Dark World a lot, despite the choice to bury the first modern Doctor Who so far under dark elf makeup and language that he practically became an alien cipher. I strongly suspect this was meant to prevent him pulling focus off Hiddleston/Loki.

Action movies, in general, hinge on how well the antagonists are portrayed.  Enjoyed the space-y Dark Elves.  I mean... who doesn't enjoy 'Evil Space Sorcerers'?  ^-^

I didn't see any hot, Dark-Elf Babes in their tight-fitting uniforms. So where did all those Dark Elves come from? The Ether?  :P
