Yeah the sale has been rather underwhelming this time, which lessens the blow of my being skint somewhat.  I did manage EYE Divine Cybermancy (impressions to follow, as demanded by Gus) but even if money hadn't been an issue there wouldn't have been much else.  Probably a Paradox title or two.  Even the indie bundles haven't been very tempting.

Its a surprisingly great indie game.  There was a lot of talk about it on wargamer when it first came out.

Is there a way to remap the keys? I saw the options in the game menu, but I couldn't access the key commands to change them.

Yes, but not from in-game.  You have to do all the key remapping from the launcher program before you start the game.  Poor design decision there.

Okay, I had attempted to remap the keys from the launcher options but I could not highlight the ones I wanted to change. I just discovered I needed to double-click on it to highlight the assigned key in order to change it.

Thanks for getting me to reexamine those option settings.

When I see those $5 sales.. my will collapses.  Fallout New Vegas and Sins Of A Solar Empire:Trinity were my last two.   Hopefully my last two!!!   :P

Opinions will differ.

I never played Oblivion, but Morrowind didn't do much for me. I think the game engine was still evolving. For $5 it's probably not a bad deal, but personally I'd hold out for something else. Fallout is great, plays similarly (though scifi rather than fantasy) and is $10. I picked up Fallout Vegas and have been enjoying it.

I never played that far. But to me it was a must to install a mod that changed the lvl mechanics. I can not stand to be forced to actually keep track on paper the skills i lvl'd to get a decent raise on lvlup.

I enjoyed oblivion. It is certainly worth $5. There are lots of mods available, including Obscuro's Oblivion Overhaul that changes leveling so that creatures don't become uber powerful as you level up.

This 'augmented edition' was only 2.00 more than the standard edition...anyone know the difference?

Torchlight is on sale for $3.74, which is a steal. I paid $9.99 for it a year ago and loved it. Yes its a simple hack and slash and yes it gets repetative after a while but damn its fun for while it lasts. I played the crap out of it for weeks until I got burned out on it. If you want a game to sit down with, drink a beer, relax and beat the hell out of bad guys you should give it a try. I can't wait for Torchlight 2 this summer.

Personally i didn't enjoy Torchlight much. I played a few hours but i didn't have fun so i stopped.
