Oh, my bad. I thought it was in the add on. I've mainly been playing skirmish, and have only recently started playing Barbarossa seriously.

^That said I do like the canned missions and the mini campaigns. There are many things in BA2 done very well - adjustable difficulty, unit descriptions, optimization, AI...and of course the Battle of Kursk is quite fascinating to me...looking forward to playing this. May even rearrange my gaming schedule to get to it quicker :)

I do...because of OCD. I must game and read on the same topic and not go all willy nilly crazy and game something totally unrelated to what I'm reading. I envy guys who can play multiple games on a variety of topics in one sitting.

I can lose at 5 games simultaneously. When I start winning, then I know I'm not paying attention.

I am 99% sure that none of the core BA2 campaigns were carryover (although you could always build your own). The Kursk campaigns are designed from the start to carry across portions of your forces through the campaign.

I just finished the German chapter of the Kursk campaign.

Loved it!

Great missions; Really enjoyed the unit carry-over. It brought me back to my Close Combat days. Losing a veteran pioneer squad during one of the last missions really hurt.
