Pretty much. We can put a password in so only people we want can join. The important thing is who ever hosts the game will also be the one who has the save game file.

OK so if after an hour I fall asleep at my keyboard, we can continue playing at some future point?

Yes we should be able to. That is if we can get all be on at the same time with the person who hosted the game and has the save file.

Update: my house has been stricken by a sudden 6 year old sleepover similar to LBs plague [but younger], so I can't do 9pm EST. I can do late, like midnight, if anyone else is a night owl. If not I will hook up with you guys next Saturday. Sorry fellers.

I may actually be up all night the way things are shaping up, and later on I am sure I will be taking refuge in my study. So if I can check to see if there's an ongoing game I will. If not, then next week.

Well... first game with CT crashed on my end. Second game seemed to be working OK until the power went out here!

Thats alright I figured something like that had happened. Well at least we know that it works and how to get it going when we all get a chance for another game.
