Mafia III Pre-order

What the heck, I failed again to hold off...went ahead and pre ordered.....pre download has started (40GB), should be ready in ample time for the release on Friday......finally a game releases on a Friday so people can play over the weekend and in this case it's actually a 4-day weekend for me!

Yep, you are going to owe me a lot of money:)  But at least with F1 so far, you might be off the hook....Mafia 3 is a little bit of a mystery because of media embargo, but what the heck...I get to kill and destroy things, what can go wrong with that:)

Media embargo? Normally that throws me a warning sign - but there's a stack of videos on Youtube...probably in total adding up to the entire game

Given the two previous iterations, I seriously hope they haven't screwed this up. As long as they capture the era and there's a good story, I'll be happy

Seems like most people think the embargo was because they didn't want to spoil the story, but who knows... I have watched a lot of the videos and seems pretty fun to me...it is a different developer so who knows, willing to take a risk.  I'll never finish it anyway, so as long as I get some fun out of it, ok by me:)

So they say:). If you notice in the videos released a number of the people state they couldn't show anything from the first 2 hours and such , which may support the fact they were trying to keep the story under wraps.  But for me doesn't matter since I have purchased and downloaded so just waiting for release day now:)

The few videos I've seen so far (1) come with glowing recommendations; (2) definitely lean toward explicitly trying not to spoil the story.

So the story embargo sounds like it has weight.

I just looked at the countdown and for me it says availabke in 17 hours.....so soon:). Doesn't matter to me though since I still can't play until late Friday :(. But at least I am ore loaded.

Depending where you live some places already selling for $37 or so in Europe.  I paid gmg price of 46
