This follows from an avid BF fan, but I have played early access for several hours now and I am blown away (pun intended)! :D
The game looks absolutely gorgeous and the WW1 vibe is very much present with a subdued colour palette and great audio / visual experience. The combat is grim and violent and the combat is slightly more realistic with the absence of big HUD markers for targets spotted.
Its easy to miss a guy making good use of cover.

The new Operations game mode is a mix between the smaller Rush and big Conquest mode. The map is divided into sectors and every phase plays out in one of those sectors.

I haven't seen much SP yet, but what I have seen so far is a heavy story with high quality cutscenes to make an interesting narrative. You play as several people in the campaign and it tries to show you the grim reality of WW1 combat, but also asks a few questions about morality (at least it does so in the opening mission). If they continue this throughout the campaign it will be the strongest SP Battlefield experience of any game of the series. Very much looking forward to playing further.

In MP it shinies truely of course. Dynamic Weather on each map, Destruction mechanics even more impressive yet again and weapons feel like the cumbersome old models of the Era, but gunplay is tight and rewarding no less.

However, if pilots would need to do daily what they are capable of doing, nobody would dare to fly anymore."

I am interested, just not sure if I am $45+ interested.....would enjoy the campaign, but I really don't play multiplayer (I die within seconds) so not sure if the campaign is good enough for a $45 purchase....thinking my tolerance is in the $25-$35 range:)

^Me too...Green Man has it for 45.99. Remain strong with me.

They also have Dragon's Dogma for 11.99...anyone play that? Metacritic reviews of it are very good, 80+

I have resisted for now...SP campaign is only about 8 hours. Not worth 45.00 to me yet.

Yeah. People are raving about this game. Even Task & Purpose is claiming it's the greatest thing since sliced bread.

I thought I could safely skip this one, but apparently not. It's going to be an expensive Fall. Battlefield 1, civ VI, titanfall 2, call of duty infinite warfare, dishonored 2....sheeeeesh...all within the next couple of weeks.
