Rejoice!  It appears the gaming gods have taken pity on me. 


While on my weekend vacation driving around the state and visiting people, I randomly stopped at a Target store (in Rochester) to pick up a couple things for the road.  While there, I decided to quick check the PC games section on the off-chance they still had some of those copies of Civ IV Complete for $20...and lo & behold they did! 

So now I have the specific version of the game I want, and at a slightly cheaper price.  Huzzah!

Civilization IV: Complete or Civilization IV: The Complete Edition? The former does not include Civilization IV: Colonization and the latter does.

But regardless of which one you got, I am glad to hear that you are happy with your purchase, Martok.
Regardless of how good a PC game may be it will always have its detractors and no matter how bad a PC game may be it will always have its fans.

I got the latter, just like what I'd originally ordered (but didn't receive).  So I'm definitely good.  :D

Ye gods, I think I spent over three hours just playing the tutorial scenario!  I swear it didn't feel like that much time had passed...  :o

Bison's right.  Although, it's customary to keep an accurate count of how many times you said, "Just one more turn" until you reach a thousand.  Shouldn't take but a few days :-)
