Meddling?

The Russians were fixing elections in order to keep their own puppet as head of the Ukrainian gov't.  It doesn't get much more meddlesome than that.  It's what started the whole conflict, when the Ukrainians finally got fed up with the blatant Russkie meddling. 

I don't blame the Ukrainians one bit for tossing them out and telling the Russkies to go F themselves.  Perhaps I'm too much of a softie for the little guy attempting to throw off the yoke. 

We don't need to get very involved.. the Ukrainians want their actual independence and are willing to fight for it.  Good for them.

Not exactly the same but not entirely different either.

I would much rather live under Murican influence and patronage, don't get me wrong. But we are involved in our fair share of shadiness too. We don't have our own little green men running around, but my point is we are not entirely clear innocent over in a part of Eastern Europe where Russia has been kicking around, better or worse, for centuries.

Also don't forget that I am partly Ukrainian and a bit biased towards the USA. I thank God every day that 100+ years ago my great grandparents got the hell out of there.

All that said...there are better fights to picking with the Russians right now.
