Looked like they're using the Total War Napoleon game

Seems it's a mix...first episode is Romans and Carthaginians, second is Battle of Waterloo and 3rd episode isn't displayed yet

Yep. It was a reasonably good series. Gave some historical facts as well as seeing people try to be strategists.

Also - did you know one of the presenters from the original series is now a female?

I lost steam. It was sitting out for over a month I think and I was juggling so many things, I dropped the ball.

I wanted to get back into my modelling and I can't whilst I'm board gaming (as they use the same table) and as it was sitting there for a month I thought "What the hell...I can go back to it". So I packed it away thinking I could start my modelling again - but I actually haven't even got that out.

I've got sooooooooooooooooo many things on the go. It's really not a good way to be. I'm reading Alien. I subscribe to Airfix Modelling World and have a backlog of 6 issues to read (to justify having the subscription). Those two interrupt my board gaming because I have to read (and re-read) the rules. Then I had pining for modelling.

On top of all that, I've got a whole shed load of computer games to play, TV to watch with the family and my daughter's coming back from University so I'll be watching a ton of TV with her and her boyfriend

I got the whole set of Conflict of Heroes you sold me that distracted me - reading the rules made me itch to get that out. But then I've got LnL Heroes of The Falklands - a battle I love - that's itching to be played and Forgotten Heroes:Vietnam which is another conflict that really draws me...

I bet you wished you hadn't asked now? 

I need to chill and focus.

Bob - next year, me, a buddy and my brother are doing the Sea2Sea bike ride from Whitehaven to Newcastle....it would be good to meet up again pal.  O0
