Man I'm just not seeing this weather on weather underground.  We're supposed to get a nice soaking tomorrow, but it's still going to stay in the 50's.

As soon as United sent out the email that said 'we will let you switch flights for no charge tomorrow because of the weather' I was all over that. Because if I didn't take it...

I ran outside yesterday and had pollen everywhere within 60 seconds. I am still itchy.

Yeah, I made my pollen post yesterday after I ran home.  I got pollen stuck in my throat or something and was hacking up a lung.

I ran today at lunchtime.  There was a mild breeze, and I didn't feel like I sucked in so much pollen.

Other than standing at the bus stop in the morning, I'm looking forward to the rain coming tomorrow.

Once the rain comes through, it's supposed to get into the low 40s early in the week.  Should be nice while it lasts.

I can't believe DC is going to be 20 degrees colder than Newport.

Not a surprise, but Sophia didn't come back home.  Vet's best guess was either her kidney's or heart issue.  We all agreed it was best for her to put her down.  Vet's pretty sure she was in pain, but she never snapped or cried out if she was.  Didn't want it to get bad and then the kids remember her for biting or snapping at one of them.  She really was a gentle giant with everyone.  Was literally less than 3 minutes from when the vet started the injection to when she was gone. 

I think she tried to make it out to the woods last night, but couldn't make it.  Insisted on laying out by some trees in the 1"+ of rain we had today.  She knew it was time.  She did enjoy the ride in the back of the truck though.  The most perky she'd been in a few days. 

O cried, J totally broke down and ran out to my parents house.  They live next to the vets clinic.  He's better now.

Sorry to hear it.  Unlike humans, if you feed a dog and treat it nice it will never turn on you.  Lately when my wife has been so stressed out we have been sending her pictures of the dogs.  Other family members are sending her pictures of her dogs.

Overnight low on Monday night into Tuesday morning at Fort Belvoir will be 42 F.  Daytime highs on Monday and Tuesday will be about 61 F.

Sorry to hear the bad news OJ. I had to go through the same thing with one of my beloved pugs years back but you certainly did the right thing for her.  :'(
