Can you not roll down some insulation in the crawlspace?

I rent. The landlord says he plans to have work done on the roof this year. He knows it's bad.

Yeah, summer arrived in DC today.  My friend couldn't ride as early as we normally do, so it was a bit toasty on the bike mid-morning.  Now that I've cooled off, I have to go back outside and mow the lawn.  Maybe I'll take a nap first.

I literally mowed the lawn in the dark on Friday to avoid the heat. I've been sitting at my daughters softball practice for the last couple of hours just reading and I am still sweaty. No running today (off day) but I will probably take a leisurely walk to the river and back just to get my steps in and move around, about 3-4 hilly miles.

We're closing in on 90 now.

About 88F here and my pool is about 84F. It's finally summer here too.  :bd:

87° here, but low humidity, and after working a few hours in an icebox of a basement office this morning, it felt nice to go for a walk outside with Bayonette

Holding at 89 here. We have a pretty good breeze going which is holding the temp down a little. Still hot as hell.

So is the intent to just stick with this thread?  I kind of feel we need to make a new thread, great green summer or something.

Anyway wind is off the water so it's quite comfortable here...really nice day yesterday.  It's about damn time.
