Yes, as I noted above, everything in that collection is DRM-Free except The Guild 2 base game. Thanks for the tip about the Renaissance Tutorial on YouTube.

I have those tutorials linked on the W**regamer forum, in The guild 2 renaissance thread - should be on the front page since I brought the subject back up after grabbing it on this sale for two-fitty.  Same dude also has quite a few others detailing class-specific things, too.

I don't mean to derail this thread, but how do you know that the Steam version doesn't have StarForce, too?

I did the research before I bought.  The Steam version doesn't have StarForce on it.   At least, it's not supposed to, and I also don't recall having an extra online activation when I installed.

Evidentally there was some (rightful IMO) complaining about StarForce being on their game, so they (1C?) removed the StarForce from the Steam version (only) to satiate some customers, in the knowledge that Steam is DRM in itself.
