Hurricane Irma

Sorry, Star, I got nothing more to offer than what you're going to see on the Weather Channel for the next week or more 24/7.  Irma is almost certainly going to make landfall in southern Florida and track along or just offshore the east coast.  Either way, you're probably in for very heavy rain, storm surge, and winds.  A somewhat less likely, but possible scenario brings Irma along the coast for a landfall in the Jax-Wilmington area, which would actually be worse in terms of damage (probably) than a Florida landfall because my understanding is that coastal GA/SC are very prone to storm surge flooding. 

If you're west of US1 and staying put, I'd recommend breaking out a good board game, and spending some quality time with Ms. Starfury, and try to enjoy the show.  It should be pretty spectacular.
