And "talented" doesn't matter one bit, or Donna Summer wouldn't have sniffed the HoF.


Honestly, there are very few artists on this year's list that I think are legitimately worthy

I wouldn't argue with any of these

Dire Straits
Judas Priest
LL Cool J
Rage Against the Machine


As much as I love The Meters, and how talented they were and how influential they were on the NOLA scene, they didn't make the tiniest dent nationally, and the people they influenced haven't made a huge impact, either.

Nah, the first one was pretty awesome - it was the solo album you keep wishing Kieth Richards would do w/o the rest of the Stones.

The third one wasn't bad, either.

The rest of them are 1-2 good songs and a lot of filler.

If he collected the best tunes from each of his solo albums after the first one, he'd have an incredible double CD, but it's been way too watered-down with extra stuff
