Thought of one more thing. Do you have mouse software running? Software that monitors the mouse battery levels, and allows you to program your buttons. I've had games where this made my mouse act strange, exiting the software when playing that game fixed it for me. It's never happened to me in a wargame, usually happens in FPS games for me but might be worth a try.

no i have plain old wired mouse, no special software, nor no battery. i also unplugged all devices.

+1. That's what I use on my desktop and my laptop, wired lasermice...bzzzzzz..... And I have2 or three extra, in case they are outlawed!

Not like it is, I hope. This is a grognard's WARgame, a boargame conversion of the grandest style, so to speak. The UI, even with the improvements, is not the slick, spoon-fed stuff younger gamers are used to. The Steam crowd would throw a hissy fit.
I love this game.

Turn 5 you can board ships and away you go. The first turns you get to watch your air force pound the island.

I know the map says something about not being able to move for a turn, so I waited for three hoping something would happen. Perhaps I missed five turns in the briefing notes somewhere.

Anyway, off to retake the atol!

in the turn report you'll see you have sea lift capacity and then you can right click on stacks and board ships.
