Call to Arms?

Possible I've overlooked, but not sure I've ever seen this game mentioned in discussions around here.

Anyone play? Or recommend?

With Steam sale in effect, I'm tempted to pick up, especially as a fan of MoW Assault Squad. But its status and what parts of the game are actually available (as opposed to 'you can pay for now but won't get until officially released') are a little confusing.

Ultimate edition for $30 might be one of the few things I pick up on this sale.

Just keep in mind none of the DLC is released yet, so the additional SP content that will come with the Ultimate and Deluxe editions will not be added until after the game comes out of EA.

I thought this game was free to play now if you do not want the single player campaign.
This is a modern version of men of war 2 assault squad. Great game. But has it's flaws. Camera angles for larger maps are not great for instance. The camera is really built for the standard maps.
I love that you can go first person if you want to. But the reality is that in a skirmish game you do not often get time because the game is often frantic.

Also thought that the DLC will not be free for current deluxe version owners? But I must admit that I am basing that on a vague memory of something I read a while ago.

I don't think ultimate was a available back in the day.

The game is pretty hard to play. I enjoy Syrian Warfare more than this.

If you have nothing you can get the Ultimate package (= Full + Deluxe + Seasons Pass) : http://store.steampowered.com/sub/137245/

If you have the 'full' version you can upgrade with the Deluxe and Seasons Pass : http://store.steampowered.com/sub/189208/ )

If you already have the deluxe version you only need the Seasons Pass to go to Ultimate : http://store.steampowered.com/app/561140/Call_to_Arms__Season_Pass/

Simple isn't it #:-).

Thanks Dero. I see. Still around $30 extra for me in AU dollars. Defo not worth it for me anyways.
I think I originally spent very little on the early early deluxe game. Before they went F2P.
