It was 73 F yesterday. I rode my bike to work in shorts. It's supposed to get below freezing by tomorrow morning, then back to the 70s next week.

Stop this right now! Don't you realize how fragile Toonces is? Posts like this could send him into the abyss!

Isn't Toonces moving to San Diego in a couple of months. 

Assuming he doesn't go full Jack Torrance before the New England winter ends.

So, then he'll be upset that it's too hot, too dry, beaches are crowded, no good surf.

And don't forget all of the retiree's driving slow and not realizing they hit three people.

No joke.  When I went to Quartermaster school in Orlando, the one thing they told us to watch out for was the retiree's driving their large cars.  The PO said they would hit you not even know it.

I'm not sure, but I don't think I complained too much about it being too hot in the summer thread.  Not too much anyway.  I don't like it when it's 95 degrees with a hundred percent humidity any more than the next person, but I'll take that over freezing cold any day.

Now then, I'm fully prepared to complain about the traffic, the congestion, the crowded surf, the long commute, how expensive everything is, etc....but we should be good to go on the weather in SD.

We were in Yucaip, CA last summer.  It was in the 100's.  But it was very bearable without the humidity.  It gets into the mid 80's here and the humidity is just a killer.
