I mentioned Baseball Mogul just because it's UI is faster in getting to the info I need.  Easier to navigate & operate in general.  And doing the line-ups takes far less time, especially compared to dealing with your Minors teams in OOTP.  The roster juggling in OOTP.. ermughawrd (because the AI does a crap job at it so - manually done).

BBM has been buggy the last two years, and I haven't tried it in about four.  May check out Mogul later this year, if it's not too buggy.  Dunno.

I've been eventually picking up OOTP on sale the last couple years, but haven't put as much time in as the couple before those.  I don't always need the most extensive set of options to get enjoyment out of these.   I ended up getting last year's OOTP for $1 on a Fanatical/Humble fall sale, so it's not like it breaks the bank if I get it at the end of the season.  ^-^  Still haven't even started that one, however.  :-"

I really like the new 3d animated players - they finally made the game click for me. I helps a lot to understand baseball more for someone that lives on the other side of the pond. Not really started to make decisions and let the AI help out while I get a feeling of the game. I think ootp 14 was my first and this is the second time I bought in before release.

If anyone wants to try an online league, I joined this one: http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/board/showthread.php?t=287454

There's a few teams left and we haven't started yet.  There's tons of manager interaction and everyone seems to be fairly mature.  The league is well organized and well run...so far.
