You can import CK2 into EU3 or the upcoming EU4? Can you then import that save into Victoria 2?

Couple questions about dealing CK2's succession laws. In my current game as the Duchess of Tuscany, I have two sons. With my current laws of succession the primary title and lands go the oldest and the duchy of Spoleto will go to the youngest. When the youngest inherits will he become a vassal of his older brother or will he succeed completely from my control? Whats the best way of handling this situation in the future? Since Tuscany is in turn a vassal of the HRE I can't change my succession laws to anything but elective monarchy. Its going to get really annoying if every time I have a new ruler I have to get a casus belli against the lands that were part of my demesne. Is there a way to get a casus belli against another duchies title instead of having to take each province one by one?

yes, ck2 rolls into eu, and eu rolls into vicky - its a work of art really but it looks very complicated

as for succession, he will become completely seperate from you - it just happened to me in game, 3 sons and 4 provinces - i as the eldest got the capital and 1 other, the 2 other brothers got one each - kill your brothers and go get them back - you should have claims on the titles - this is medieval europe!!

Thanks, neither of my two previous games got that far, and in both of those I only had 1 son and 2+ daughters.

I didn't know I would have claims on the titles. I figured I would have to get my chancellor to forge a claim on them.

And then try to get your inheritance laws changed so that your first-born gets the whole dealio in the future.  Hopefully he's not a sickly, possessed and hunchbacked guy who avoids the company of the fairer sex, has a Diplo rating of 1, and regularly attempts to kill you.  :P

On an equally cheerful note, the crown law system isn't yet where it should be IMO since the biggest ruler in your area has a large effect on what you can do - even if he's in a completely different kingdom than yours.  :-\

Finished up the weekend playing the great great grandson of the dynasty founder.  It's 1181 A.D.  I currently (still) own four counties on the Isle of Ireland.  Three contiguous (Breifne, Connacht, Tyrconnell) and Desmond on the southern tip.  My vassals seem to like me well, although my brother is trying to kill my heir.  After a botched arrest, said brother fled to Leinster lands on the English Isle. 

I have an heir and a spare with another baby on the way.  I am in my thirties, in love with my wife and biding my time and improving cash flow and infrastructure.  I can raise three thousand levies total and always keep enough cash on hand to hire a merc company (75gp hire and between six and eight gp retainer each month).

My ultimate goal would be to lead the British Isles uniting it all from Ireland, but I first need to take over my island.

I didn't get any gaming at all in the end. My daughter was either playing Skyrim when I did have some free time or I was just vusy - DIY, cutting grass, cleaning - oh - or making my B-17 model - so it wasn't all work

Reading some of the threads this week have me thinking I need to tear open my never used, used copy of Age of Rifles and get that up and running.  Also, maybe try some Children of the Nile.

Speaking of Antique games.  I played free-to-play WWII Online. What a horrible game.  But it can be vaguely fun.  Sort of like
that psychotic girlfriend you had in the 10th grade who buried dead animals in your yard and formed a club to have
a stamp made with YOU ON IT.

On a lighter note:  I've played this game (WWII online not "A stamp made with YOU ON IT v2.0") off and on since London in '02.
it has steadily gotten better BUT it was so awful to start with that it has only now reached the vaguely amusing level.

The nice thing about Free-to-play-WWII online is that you are officially cannon-fodder forever and you can give up all dreams of glory
and just settle down and shoot those clever, elite, well-armed, well-coordinated jerries.

And all in a setting of almost surreal crappiness.  The most mystifying thing is -- since the game system really cannot represent cities
why are there endless battles in the amazingly bad city-scapes?  The landscapes are kind of nice so why didn't they just make a total
sandbox of okay landscapes and skip the amazingly bad city-scapes?
