Dammit I forgot about Northgard too...I hope there is some kind of 'complete' edition.

I keep hearing really good things about Divinity 2, like I really need another massive RPG to play. So Grogs, anybody got anything good or bad to add about it?  :coolsmiley:

Stop me..I am SO close to buying this! Problem is that I can get three expansions for other games for the same money.

Hmmm...a bit Steam sale really SHOULD result in at least one AAA title.

Now added: Frostpunk and This War of Mine Complete, which come together in a package deal 60% off or something like that. A little over $24 total if I recall correctly.

Gary Grigsby's War in the West is on sale for $27 CAD! Might actually have to buy it... :o

So I actually refunded Pillars of Eternity 2 to get the Obsidian edition. For $5 more seems like a no brainer.
Insert witty comment here.

Redwolf

Somebody already said it, repeating: Atlantic Fleet looks like fun. Not bad for sub-$10.

Wish I knew your intentions so I could have warned you away from Depth of Extinction.  I got an early development copy, and also the copy that landed on Steam as part of the early development copy.  Lots of repetitive combat with seemingly no real storyline.  If you understand the basics of turn-based, squad level combat it is amazingly easy.

I would send it back for a refund if you can.  Jagged Alliance 2, X-Com (most any of them), Wasteland 2 and several others are much better games of this type.

So how is Northgard currently, I have heard it is kinda simplistic and barebones as far as RTS games go.

I came in here to ask this question as well.

Well as I recall Northgard was shite and I had it refunded.  I don't remember the details now, only that it wasn't really the game I expected; it abstracted too much and had some weird mechanics that made it a bit too gamey.

Having said that, I acquired another copy via my Humble monthly subscription so perhaps I'll fire it up again just to see.

I got Deity Empires and am loving it.  It's like if Dominions and Master of Magic had a lovechild!  I'd be lying if I said that I'd mastered the brutal UI just yet, but the level of detail is extraordinary and the game mechanics are wonderfully clean.

I'm also planning to get Bomber Crew, but can't decide whether or not I want to pull the trigger on Strategic Command World at War: WW II or Slay the Spire.  Decisions, decisions...
