(I suspect there was some sort of benign bug in the code there: they acted like my allies without being listed as my ally.)

You don't have that Killer Army for Legacy points option?

I do but:

1.) It requires that the enemy outgun me by 200%. That might happen, but hasn't yet.

2.) It requires that I have 75 legacy points. I don't have that yet, and probably won't get there.

3.) Most importantly, it requires that my final territory not be the area under siege. Which is the whole problem.

I assume that the best Sabaean ladies already traveled out of the country some time ago on ambassadorial missions, and so are being well taken-care of.  ^-^

Jason....you don't need the Legacy points in the bank. In another game I screwed up early as Rome and had to use it and ended up minus 180 Legacy.

I am already well back into that game after about 30 turns and am about 25th out of 77 for Legacy....Admittedly Saba is not Rome but you can go into Legacy overdraft !

I've already reloaded up Imperator and Aggressors, with some preliminary plans to run a three-game comparison of gameplay, using the "Celtics" of the Aggressors game and equivalent nearby factions in the other two games. Essentially the guys who hung out in the Alps north of Rome. (Aggressors has a much smaller scope in its campaign, so I have to choose something relatively simple to play that's available in all three games.)

I am already well back into that game after about 30 turns and am about 25th out of 77 for Legacy....Admittedly Saba is not Rome but you can go into Legacy overdraft !

According to the game itself, I cannot. I've got the technical option (it triggered last turn), but the game says I'm missing all three conditions, as listed. Maybe this was altered/fixed in the latest patch?
