Run Friday Run

In the spirit of the season, a classic from a master of rock and roll.

With the Grogheads discount, I just downloaded Strategic Command: WW1. Looking forward to giving it a go this weekend. Also some more CoD Modern Warfare for mindless fun. Had alot of fun last weekend playing the first scenario in Combat Commander. My buddy and I might set up and play the 2nd scenario.

Happy gaming, Grogs!

I'm trying to finish up my AAR of Okinawa and get started on the last scenario - Clobbering the Emperor in Tokyo.

I'll be working on the Civil War II AAR, as well as research for a couple of games. Also a bit of CMO.

GR:Breakpoint and now that I've got it on the cheap, GR: Wildlands - Fallen Ghosts fill my time what with the shootin' and stabbin' stuff.

Will buy, for the Boy ostensibly ( ;)), the Star Wars Battlefront update stuff here shortly too.

Have a good one, and don't get trampled by folks in the mall.

Good song choice GG....! Just started a game of Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire. Got yesterday in the Steam holiday sale. Really enjoyed the first one and have been waiting for a good sale for the sequel.

Inspired by all the talk about Strategic Command: WW1, i've started playing Commander: The Great War again. This fulfills my WW1 needs for the moment. I am also playing Caesar IV. (Narbo).

Many other games i would like to play: Civilization VI (with the latest DLC), Interstellar Space, Beyond Earth, and and and....

Continuing with Kingdom Come Deliverance and Age of Empires 2, plus some Ancestors Legacy as the Teutonic Knights. May play around with Cossacks 3 as well.

Just picked up Battletech and all the DLC as a bundle so that is probably going to be my main focus though also have Strategic Command WWI so looking to get into that as well.

Don't feel bad. I start mine tomorrow. Today is a day of much needed R&R.

^Actually, it has been my tradition for years to do all my shopping on Christmas Eve morning around 7. Wally-world is usually pretty quiet then.

Game play? Witcher 3. About to start Act II.- but I have a lot of contracts, secondaries, and treasure hunts to do.

I might fire up Field of Glory II or Empires. Not sure but keeping options open.

but I have to start shopping tomorrow. I get Tuesday off (Christmas Eve) so I intend to once and for all be done before that date but I'm only working a very short schedule both Sunday and Monday. So I can take my time.
