Unfortunately, the above is not the only place where the world has its priorities wonky.

It does make you miss the Medieval view of the warrior-hero. Of course, those guys were always the "generals" of the forces, the individual soldiers were often unmentioned then as well.

I get the sentiment and all, but the moron who photoshopped the image spelled Lt. Michael Murphy's name wrong.  Total FAIL! If you're going to make a point about military honor and respect, at least get your spelling correct.
