Elemental: Fallen Enchantress

Looks like FE has a release date, October 23rd. I've played a little bit of the beta, seems to be shaping up nicely. I have a few minor issues, but overall I think it's a huge improvement over WoM.

Heh. It's a reasonable question. FE had better be pretty spectacular for all the money I've spent.

Yeah. The problem is WoM was, and remains, a broken game. So those of us who were foolish enough to preorder have every right to expect a fantastic game in Fallen Enchantress which, despite Stardock's rhetoric, isn't really a sequel at all, it's just the game that WoM should have been.

If you really want to spice up your FE game, go to the mods section on the forum and get Heavenfalls big mod. He adds in a number of new races, items, and other goodies.
