Half-Life: Alyx no VR mod

Looks pretty cool, but one downside is that the fingers all move as one so you can't flip off the combine.   :'(

The question is, why?

Without VR, I'd say its just an average FPS. With VR...sensational.

Some people might want to continue the story and action of Half-Life, even if the game is mediocre, without strapping TV screens to their eyes. ;)

^ Yeah, mainly that.  If this mod runs OK I'll definitely pick up HL: Alyx on a discount at some point because I'm a big Half Life fanatic, even if it's weaker than previous installments.  I don't like the idea of having screens centimeters from my eyes.

This reminds me that I still need to play: Episode 2; Episode 1; and the rest of HL2.

...and the recent HL super-remaster that I bought last year.

I am admittedly probably not the market for Alyx anyway.  ::) (Though I did like her character in HL2 as far as I got.)
