I got SGS Heia Safari and Halls of Montezuma, as well as Cauldrons of War - Stalingrad.

Funny, was going through all the SGS games last night.  Love the fact they cover unique events, but still having difficulty determining for myself whether I would enjoy playing them or not.  They have another new one coming out soon, Feb 10th, Glory Recalled.

I am somewhat disgusted / appalled that at the end of times America's mark on history will have been bringing excess consumerism to the rest of the world.

Exactly.  I keep seeing the same games I'm not interested in going on sale but not the ones I really really want.  It's like Steam can read my mind and it taunts me!

I don't think you can blame the US for this.  If local shops over here decide to have a Black Friday sale that is their decision.  I guess we can only blame some slick marketing people without scruples for this.
