Nice.  As for me...I'm looking at what current missiles are supposed to do (using Harpoon V rules with missiles all in cardboard form on little blue hexes)
and why they often don't quite work the way optimal missile usage suggests that  they should ( you know: decoys, chaff, jamming, sea-state clutter, rain,
ducting of electromagnetic things, clutter from things on the land, trees, shooting too soon, having the wrong datalink for the wrong helicopter radar etc, etc,
being passive when only active will do for the quickest firing solution, etc. etc.)

Some High Frontier 4 All

That was a great intro in the OP.  Bryan Adams is definitely cool.  He went on to inspire Don Juan DeMarco.

I actually remember the Summer of 69. It was HOT. Oh, and someone landed on the moon. Beyond that, I was trying to find someone to play Stratego with that I could beat and FINALLY getting my own bedroom all to myself.  :dreamer:  The weekend will be a busy one, so gaming is going to be an optional luxury. Have a great one Grogs.

>:D Exactly!

Okay...So this weekend? Distant Worlds 2, probably some Minecraft, I'm digging through my library and seeing what I haven't really played through as much. But that's me. I work Sunday, but next Friday through Sunday I am off. :D

Toonces

I've been in a pretty serious gaming slump lately, but I still have a desire to dig into a WW2 Pacific title.  Also, now that I'm getting deeper into Churchill's WW2 memoir, I'm craving a little WW2 Europe action.  Considering trying to learn HOI 3 again, or maybe digging into Warplan, which is sitting unplayed in my library.

Decisions....

I wish I had bought HOI 4 when it was on sale, but I've had HOI 3 sitting unplayed for so long it just didn't seem like a smart move.  I don't really know what the difference between the two titles is.
