You just named my top 4 shows. And all four would make my personal list of 10 best/favorite series ever. The Bachelor, Dancing With the Stars and Big Brother did NOT make the list, thankyouverymuch.

my problem is the lack of the space soap opera sci-fi show.
Im pretty sure Honor Harrington would make a damn good
long term show.  it would be even better if it was done in CGI
like the Clone Wars is done.  and thats become a dame good
show itself.

Yeah, agreed. They are supposedly making a HH movie, you know. I haven't heard anything about it in awhile. Of course, the other series which would make my Top Ten is Battlestar Galactica, of course! What a lineup   8)

Nope.  But I do listen to Geektime.  They've had Robert Kirkman on.  He said that the TV show will, and has deviated from the comic.  Take Shane, he lived longer on the TV show than he did in the comic.

It was also made clear that no TV show character is sacred.  Anyone could be zombie food at any time despite what has happened in the comics.

oh they deviate from the comic a lot!  but some things are just going to happen.
and every character is up for grabs except Rick and Carl.

Just read a Wiki synopsis, including the story about The Governor.  Should be a great season!

I am only in season two but it is quickly becoming one of my favorite shows. I am really growing to actually like Daryl! Also like the hot farmer's daughter, for those who remember.

Boardwalk Empire is by far my current favorite, though.

I like the concept of Boardwalk far more than the execution of Boardwalk.

I miss Jimmy, and Steve Buscemi looks too sickly to be an effective hero.  And there's far too goddam much of Margaret in EVERY episode.
