Best Submarine Games

For totally inexplicable reasons, I've suddenly reignited my interest in playing a good submarine game. Here are some I've played, interested in getting more recs:

- Subnautica - Great survival game, though if you start from scratch it takes ages to get a sub.

- Silent Hunter 3 - Stone cold classic, but fairly aged. Looking for something a bit more modern and accessible.

- Barotrauma - Cool idea, but very multiplayer focused. I'm looking for singleplayer.

- Iron Lung - Great concept and execution, but fairly boring and non-replayable gameplay

The others I have on my list are UBOAT and Wolfpack.

Another fun but dated game is Command: Aces of the Deep by Sierra. It was the last version of Aces of the Deep and had a voice command option that was supposed to be part of a series of various games using that interface, though the idea was later dropped.

UBoat is great and has some interesting features in no other WW2 sub game I'm aware of like early war inspection/sink based gameplay.

For modern I still highly recommend Cold Waters especially with DotMod for realism.

Silent Hunter 4 was my go to sub game for a long time, loved those Japanese BB's and CV's. The U-Boat DLC was great too. I haven't had the submarine itch in a long time now so please don't re-tempt me. I am Easy and have no shame remember.

SIlent Hunter III/IV were the best WWII sub games. For a detailed subsim, try Wolfpack

Not even sure its available anymore, for some reason recall it being taken down as I don't see at Steam and/or other stores anymore....could be wrong.

strangely not for me....comes up with stating the material is blocked. Wonder if a location thing or maybe violates something, not sure. But won't allow me to see that page and only not that page.

Hmmm...it may be because the link I used had an age challenge. When I first went to it, I didn't respond to it correctly and it gave me the "blocked" message. Maybe try going to Gamersgate homepage, searching for it there, then answering the age challenge.
