Best Submarine Games

Lol.  Checked and found that "Subwar 2050," is on Steam.  No idea how it plays nowadays, but really dug it back in the day.  Along with the Crimson Skies franchise, I think this would be a hoot to see revamped and re-issued.

Anyone remember a game from '85 or so called "Gato"?

Lolz -- I remember it had a setting where orders were transmitted by morse code....   (literally).   I ended up learning Morse just for that.

Tangentially -- anyione recall what the new game by the ex-developers of 'Cold Waters' is entitled?  Modern Naval something or other?

I used to follow that a bit, but it dropped off my radar.

I played the heck out of Gato!  Very fun game for its time.
