Comes out next month. Anyone here getting it and anyone here play the beta/early access? If so, what did you like or dislike?

I'm already growing tired of Diablo 4. The hack n slash is only good for so long. Doubt I finish it.

The more I read about BG3 the more I like. I am definitely getting it.

I have not had any part in the beta or early access, though.

Its not quite as it seems. The bear is actually the Druid character. For such stuff to occur the Druid would need to romance another character and then shapeshift....Totally avoidable but I agree its a bizarre option to make.

On the other had all reports are that the game itself is simply incredible and era defining for RPG's in terms of depth of story, choices and consequences.

I've read very recently (last week) that the player is 'haunted by darkness' and is regularly led by his conscience to make the dark decisions...and must actively fight against doing that. I dig that muchly.

Long-time BG fan but the price for early access and all the L-O-N-G wait time turned me off. I will wait and see on this one.

Probably similar to the original Dragon's Age in that (and other) regards -- and for good reason, considering its pedigree!

One of the character Origins you can choose is "Dark Urge" where you certainly don't fight against such urges.....right up your street Gus 😉

Ok, so the more I dug I realised I was off about the whole beastiality thing. It's still weird as f**k though even if it's just a spell.

Won't stop me from buying. This game looks massive and right up my rpg ally, but not sure it's a day 1 buy for me, but not sure I can wait for a big sale either.

I've always thought of, 'Weird as shit' as a bad thing and, 'weird as f*ck' as either a good thing or an extremely bad thing depending on circumstances. 'Weird as f*cking shit' can only be a bad thing though.

I can't actually remember the last time I played an RPG to the finish. Guess I've kind of grown out of them? I hope this game is epic enough so I can retrograde a decade or so.
