Demo on Steam of this Medieval turn-based title which is set in France during the 100-Years war. Entertainingly gruesome cut scenes after each combat hit. Will release on March 7. I think it has lots of potential.

Releases today.  Liked the demo enough to give it a go.  Although seems devs been quiet a bit, hope not a train wreck:)

Definitely still interested and loitering with intent over the purchase button.

Seems like not a lot of great feedback, everything from optimization not being great and not liking the controls.  No involvement from devs that I can see.  I won't have a chance to really play until next week but it might be one of those wait and see things for people who haven't bought yet.  Surprisingly, the download was tiny, like 6.8GB with expected footprint of 14GB.  Very small for games these days....

How are you acting like you haven't seen this before when you literally commented on a thread for the exact game not a couple weeks ago?
A War of a Madman's Making - a text-based war planning and political survival RPG

It makes no difference what men think of war, said the judge.  War endures.  As well ask men what they think of stone.  War was always here.  Before man was, war waited for him.  The ultimate trade awaiting its ultimate practitioner.  That is the way it was and will be.  That way and not some other way.

If they made nothing but WWII games, I'd be perfectly content.  Hypothetical matchups from alternate history 1980s, asymmetrical US-bashes-some-3rd world guerillas, or minor wars between Upper Bumblescum and outer Kaboomistan hold no appeal for me.

I guess it's sort of nice that the word "tactical" seems to refer to some kind of seriousness during your moments of mental clarity.

I can't find it now, but there was another post from a French user who shared the game as Le Prince Noire. Maybe I hallucinated it.

I did get a chance to play a little bit, so far continue to like the gameplay but it did really heat up my graphics card like others mentioned on Steam.  Didn't physically measure the temp, but it felt hotter than any other recent games I have played.

And God knows, a man your (/our?) age can't be expected to remember something from way the hell back in February.
