Stalker 2 on Hold Again

RPS is reporting that the making of Stalker 2 is not going to be happening yet again. However, the guys behind Stalker seem to have opened a new gaming company and will be making a game called "Survarium."

They put up a video on YouTube and have a brief description of the game on the site. It looks like a F2P MMOFPS set in a post-apoc setting. They have my interest if for no other reason then I really enjoyed Stalker.

Stalker 2 was supposed to come out in December 2022...now the latest game to move to 2023. Believe the development team was based in Ukraine. With all these game delays, 2023 going to be a busy year:)

Well, release date on the move again. Was September, now November 20.

Downloading and very excited. Sure there probably will be anomalies, by design or accident, but sort of miracle it came out at all after pandemic and through the war. And of course RIP Vladimir Yezhov

Not sure if anyone stuck with Stalker 2 after the buggy release, but there's a free 2.0 patch and new expansion coming out tomorrow which the trailer looks pretty good:

I bounced off this when it first came out on Gamepass and was buggy and not optimized, but 2 years later it's looking great and I'm looking forward to going back into the zone.

30 hours in now on the new patched version and I can say this was the way the game was meant to be, I haven't ran into the bugs and slowdowns from the release and the atmosphere is great, really enjoying it.
Another game that came out in a sorry buggy state but glad the Devs didn't give up on it so we can enjoy it 2 years later.

Is it open world or more of a story based linear style of play?
