Unburdened by what has been: Combat Mission in a museum setting

Had a nice evening last week at the local military museum, a volunteer curator (right of photo) ran a Combat Mission scenario for a group in the theatre. One of the regiment's vets (centre in photo) took on leadership of the platoon sized battle group. There were some civilians in the crowd, myself, and three young boys who knew an astonishing amount about military "stuff" and all eagerly participated in giving orders to the curator, who ran the sim from his laptop and translated our verbal orders into commands to the Tac AI. Was a good vehicle to discuss a number of topics and have some fun. Short video, if it works, shows a few minutes of the session. Managed to get 8 turns in, hope is to finish the scenario via email or more in-house sessions.

Will look forward to watching this video. I did something very similar here. Visited a guys house for launch of one of the modules or something and we ran a few scenarios. Wow that was so many years ago. Great fun.
