A thread on Reddit announces the release of the 1.05 patch for Command & Conquer Generals. This is part of a bigger release that also includes recreated source code for the entire Command & Conquer series.
The source code and patches are all released under the GPL, and are all available on the Electronic Arts GitHub Repository.
And Steam Workshop support is expanded for these titles (Modding Support package on GitHub).

Took less than 3 minutes to spot 2 security problems in the network code. Amazing how times have changed. Well, hopefully changed.
