On the bright side, there really isn't anything new with the beta version that wasn't in the demo.  I'm sure you'll get a key and be able to jump in before any new goodies are added in.

They fixed the problem and everybody who did not receive a key now has a way to claim one. There is much rejoicing across the land.  :twirl:

Yeah unfortunately Microsoft & Apple boxes have been very, very naughty.
No wonder people made a fortune in selling newsletter "curation" to help with reach. Both Mailchimp & Sender using OVH & Wordpress get bounced mercilessly, yet silently. Also pretty much means that a whooping 30% of all newletters we sent simply disappeared in a black hole in the past.

The new system worked for a couple hours before a Google bot decided it was fishing. I paid Mr Google and the new interactive form might hopefully survive the weekend.

Christ, how hard it has become to go through the day in 2025!

Perhaps a game should be made about the internet wars. I personally think you should be able to go down to your local post office, identify and register your traffic ahead of time.

Admiral,

Just wanted to give you all a massive thumbs up across the board.

First, the demo was awesome.

Second, your communication via kickstarter is beyond excellent.

Third, I was one of the folks that Outlook swallowed the key letter.   Not only did your team implement a manner to get a key in the last KS communication (a big positive), your team went out of their way to respond to my message to you in KS about the failure with a follow up email with a key.  So I dont have to go through the steps you put into place in the KS communication.

Above excellent in every. single. aspect.   Absolutely phenomenal.

Well I think I screwed up but not really sure
I had never done a kickstarter so I thought I'd gone in at the captain level
But I cant find an email acknowledging it and I cant find any matching transactions on Paypal or my credit card
So now I dont know if I actually did sign up correctly - I sure thought I did

If its not shown up on your paypal or cc by now, you probably didn't complete signing up for the kickstarter. On the plus side, you can still get in on the kickstarter for at least another week.

Being a kickstarter newbie what does late pledges get you?
Can I still get in the captain level because that is what would be ideal

You should get the same rewards.  Captain level still showing 133 out of 500 available. You should receive an email very soon after you pledge.

A small update on our part on the Steam news page, with a release window (Q1 2026 if you don't wanna browse for it). It will be Early Access though, as the game gets completed overtime with the needed assets & extra functions born from the Kickstarter's success.
