Very cool looking vietnam trailer. Shame I am burnt out on all FPS games except Holdfast. Which also has an expansion coming.

Oh hell yeah. Hell Let Loose is a great game. I haven't played it much - but I do like it when I jump on there. One of the very, very few online games I would play.

Going to Vietnam is a great idea.

Yep. Given Red Orchestra's 2 vietnam has probably finally died it's time for a successor so to speak.

It's a sure sign of my advancing years that a game's life-cycle is done and dusted in the time it's taken me to think, "Rising Storm? Must give that a go"

Yeah, you are correct. I think it's actual name was rising storm 2 vietnam. It had a long life and a dedicated community. Not sure ehat it's current status is.

Depends; weekends will get you a fairly sizeable server selection and weekdays not quite so much. Cannot say anything about servers running mods or modded maps as by the time all the goods get downloaded to my machine, I'm timed out or otherwise kicked from the queue. And note, I'm talking North America servers only as I've a trash connection so lag/ping/etc. has caused me to quit a game more than once out of frustration.

I'd say get the game if it's on sale, but I'm an unabashed Tripwire fanboi so grain of salt and all of that.

Yeah it was a very good game, best vietnam game I have played. The Vietnamese tunnel mechanics are genius. I tried playing it again a year or so ago and was astounded at how badly the graphics had aged.
