Kenny Loggins, 1986.  Seems to be an appropriate send-off to CAPT Randy Cunningham
As far as gaming this weekend?  Not much.  Mostly BoC and Fight Club work, with a dash of possibly CMO or Scourge of War.

I don't know what gaming I will do but that is a fantastic song. WE got our first surround sound system shortly after that movie came out on video. Everytime that we wanted to show off the system, we would play the opening scene of that movie. Good memories!!

For me it will be War Thunder with a splash of Civ III: Conquests.

I saw "Top Gun" in the movie theatre back in the day.  Great memories.

Holdfast: Nations at War - they had server problems in my region this weekend and the population was left wondering. The Oceana servers were down for almost 24hrs on a friday/saturday. They are back now but it takes people a while to come back after they think the game died. They are either on other regions servers or leave for other games immediately. THeir are just so many FPS style games these days. So much choice.

A friend got a 36" tube tv and a surround sound system and invited me over to watch Top Gun.  A picture fell off the wall in another room during the movie.

Probably try to finish yet another game of Shadow Empire this weekend.

Still learning Victoria 3.

All this Top Gun talk might make me start up DCS (or the movie).

Progressing in Witchfire.

Antietam is a wonderful battlefield to visit.  The land was purchased by the government around 1870, so it is pretty much untouched.  Not that you asked me, but I've done the battlefield walk twice there.  I highly recommend you actually walk (don't drive) the battlefield.  Doing that will take 8-12 hours, but you will get a lot out of it.  Harper's Ferry is close by, so it is worth seeing.  South Mountain is also close by, but much of it is overgrown.  I would still see it, but I would go to Harper's Ferry over it.

Thanks Tripoli, I plan to do just that.  I'm going to try retracing the movements of several regiments using "The Maps of Antietam" by Bradley Gottfried". I've used his other maps of Gettysburg doing the same with good success. Then I plan to vist a relative's marker in the Antietam National Cemetery at Sharpsburg.
