That looks pretty interesting and I'd never heard of it.  Thanks for the heads-up!

Yeah. I have been looking at this. Will be trying the demo. However I am not sure because it's single player only. Looks really good though.

I think a big part of whether this game can succeed will depend upon the richness of the campaign and grand strategic experience, which I haven't tried yet. Although elegant and somewhat clean/nice looking, the skirmish battle was fairly bland and simple. I don't think it will be able to compete with the likes of the Wargame series and WARNO, or even Regiments for that matter.

Furthermore, Poland. Just saying. I get that it has a glorious military history and will play a somewhat important role in any future confrontation with Russia, so I really mean no disrespect, but still...I'd rather have more options when it comes to taking on Ivan.

All the base features of a good mix of RTS and strategy are their and impressive. But I am not seeing the RTS element especially being very advanced compared to say WARNO. However if they add more features it will be a really solid game.
I get the impression as well that a lot is done with A.I....

The setting is crazy... a Polish dev depicting a modern day flashpoint that is basically the Ukranian war gone hot in europe. All the modern stuff like drones and electronic trucks that detect infantry in the middle of forests are there. So is the new Panther 130mm tank...

The setting:

Some sort of A.I.? In the demo they talk about playing RTS matches that are basically hands off or hands on... I think. I just chose full control of my first battle.

Hands off or hands on??

Some really nice features that warno has like this LOS tool. But missing a lot of more detailed things like attack move and such in the demo at least. There is some sort of A.I. active defence button for units that I have not tried yet.

There was a screen on the strat layer showing how much aid was coming from the U.S. and other countries to aid the war effort. I loved seeing what seemed like truck and train supply lines etc. But really have not seen much of the campaign map in action yet. I just finished the intro mission and ran out of time.

Infantry seem to want to move in column mostly and health bars are a thing although armour does play a part. I have not noticed any morale yet.
