As far as gaming, it is going to be a little light between now and Christmas.  Still working on the BoC DLC, but not much else.  Merry Christmas, y'all !

Playing installing-it-all-over-again with a crashed and burned C-drive, with Windows System Image having been of a corrupt C drive state as well. Had all data backed up, "just" need to install all apps again, that is.

On a positive side, a brand new M.2 SSD C drive found its way home even before the Xmas celebrations

Things are starting to make a bit more sense - I did however leave it too late to expand so I'm playing tall with 2 mega cities versus my arch enemy Rome who has 5 and Russia who have 6 - constantly warring with Korea so I'm just brushing up on conquest advice and then we're going in - they're number 3 on the leader board but I can only find one city

Yeah, my first try I only had a couple cities but I was playing on second easiest level so I was still winning.  Second try is on 'Normal' and I have 7 cities now (2 captured).  My pesky neighbors the Persians keep declaring was and losing (game says inconclusive but that's rubbish as I've acquired 2 of their cities).  The other neighbors are Assyrians and they never built a second city and were consigned to the dustbins of history by game mechanics (weakest Civ dies at end of each 'Act')
