The French Farmer waving at the window was the best Easter Egg of the preview! -- among many other worthy April-ish detail eggs.

Updated to provide easier access to video code:

The egg(s?) you're looking for are at 2:00.

I didn't think they could possibly make the Combat Mission games look any worse graphically, but here we are  :3musketeer:

EDIT - here I thought I was above the whole "getting got thing" but here we are :3musketeer:
I was waiting for a mission, and for my sins, they gave me one.

Talking of which, I thought this must be an April Fool's:

but apparently not.  Curious to know if people round here find this uplifting or sacreligious?

Has good reviews, some funny ones also of course (I awarded some of those), but the sober ones say it's a respectful exploration of the Gospel material in a setting that tries to be historically and geographically accurate.

So I bought it. Haven't played yet tho.

This is by playway which iirc are Polish. Which is a fairly devoutly Christian majority country. If they are like some movies trying to reflect religious or historical events then I think that is fine. However if the mood is more like "the life of brian" movie, that might ruffle a few feathers, but I still think it is ok and a choice for those that wish to play it. I would not.
For me it's a freedom of speech issue. I certainly know of another game where you are quizzed on the bible and can get 100% achievements for basically knowing the whole thing. I have no problem with that at all.
Anything that seeks the truth and enlightenment I am all for. Restrictions on those honest explorations of data and truth seeking that lead to advancement I am against.
Another thing I am not FOND of is people shouting at other people instead of debating. Reason cannot win over ignorant numbers in these situations and thus the truth may be missed. I see that a lot, at least in media in this day and age.

Mental note: still haven't played it, but will try to get something done with it by the end of Easter Week. Edited to add: the actual developer, Space Boat Studios, hasn't done anything in this genre before -- and not much before at all. Nor much very highly rated. For whatever that's worth, this game is getting VERY good reviews by people stating the game takes the theme seriously (though with a bit of good-natured humor in some places).
