It was getting lukewarm reviews and I was going to skip it for awhile until it went on sale, but then I heard the campaign includes Operation Mercury, the invasion of Crete and I folded. I've always been fascinated by that battle and have read and studied so much about it.

In any event, I'm enjoying the game, but it is quite difficult. A lot of saving and reloading. Sighting can still be problematic and something about the armor weapons and penetration seems off. Still, it looks good and I've had some fun.

I'd play more if I could pull myself away from Gray Zone!

I played the demo in nextfest, it just felt like a remastered SD4.  There's just so many games out there, I couldn't waste my time with this.

I bet there's a combat mission scenario for Crete if you really want to game that, not Arcady sudden strike 5.

And I agree, Crete is a really interesting operation, don't blame you for zeroing in on that.

Same. Played the demo and it seemed ok, but I had little time to allocate to it during that next fest period. But I have company of heroes 3 and combat mission cmx2. Additionally it seemed like a bit of a grind and control seemed a bit messy. I'd buy it on special.

This is a fairly accurate description. Again, not a bad experience, but it definitely suffers from these issues.
