Here is a cool "patrol boat". It is a tiny 40 people 600 ton thing, but it packs 4 anti-ship missiles, a 76mm naval gun, a twin 40mm bofors and two .50cals. 44 knots max speed.

The south Koreans built it after the North Koreans sank a normal-ish patrol boat of theirs in 2002. Apparently they are not fooling around anymore. And they built a shitload of them.

Of course this thing is totally useless for all normal patrol boat and government activities normally carried out in peacetime. No idea how seagoing it is. Probably top-heavy.
